ABOUT THE PORCELANOSA GROUP
Since - the 18th Century the Spanish region of Valencia has been famous for the beauty and quality of its ceramics, but until the founding of Porcelanosa it was the vast, centuries old orange groves that dominated the industry of the Castilian town of Villareal.
Born among those orange groves and the red soil of the region, Porcelanosa's founder, Mr Soriano, was always an idealistic business man. His care for his family, community and the progress of his craft enabled him to build a thriving and internationally renowned company up from humble beginnings.
From the start, he knew that it was through care, craft, dedication and innovation that the company would prosper and now, ever expanding, Porcelanosa employs more than 4000 people, turning Villareal into the beating industrial heart of the ceramics industry.
Porcelanosa now design, manufacture and distribute a wide range of products for the construction industry from their own factories which total over 500,000sqm of production and warehousing facilities.
The Porcelanosa Group, as one of the worlds leading tile and bathroom and kitchen manufacturers, has committed to a grand and rapid expansion over the last 30 years to become the parent company for eight brands.
